THE CHAMBER

The Pakistan Chamber of Commerce USA was founded in August 1997 by Dr. Ashraf Abbasi, coinciding with Pakistan’s 50th Independence Day. This pioneering initiative united 50 community leaders, presidents of various organizations, businessmen, and professionals under a shared vision to promote economic cooperation between the US and Pakistan. Since its inception, 17 presidents have led this prestigious organization, driving its mission forward.

25 YEARS OF PRESIDENTSHIP

GOALS

The chamber aims to educate local businesses and the Pakistani-American community about the Pakistan Advantage and the opportunities of doing business with Pakistan. Over the years, it has evolved into a powerful vehicle for economic empowerment, enabling minority business owners to access programs tailored for small and medium enterprises.

Today, the chamber focuses on creating local jobs by promoting exports to Pakistan and fostering bilateral trading opportunities. By facilitating access to Pakistan’s vast and emerging middle-class market, the chamber plays a vital role in strengthening economic ties between the two nations, promoting mutual growth and prosperity.
